During my trip to Tel-Aviv-Israel last year, I decided to revisit the old neighborhood I grew up in and see what became of it. I’ve walked through the block we’ve lived in, the playgrounds, pass my first school and the 2nd block we’ve moved to shortly after. To my surprise, it looked pretty much the same! Apart from some renovated bits here and there, for the most part it appeared to have remained intact, as if Time skipped that part of the city. What used to be a thriving neighborhood in the pre-videogames 70’s, with children of all ages playing outside all day long, now looked like a preserved piece of history and one I’ll remember fondly.
